Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor renewable gas compression and related facilities.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform repairs or replacements.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems like pumps and compressors.
• Maintain instrumentation and control equipment and analyze data for trends.
• Serve as lead on-site technician coordinating operations and maintenance activities.
• Record daily/weekly/monthly production data and reports.
• Collect samples for quality testing and maintain compliance records.
• Assist with process control improvements to boost efficiency.
• Respond to urgent issues, including gas leaks or weather-related disruptions, ensuring safety and system integrity.

Position Summary:

The Renewable Gas Field Service Technicianis responsible foroperating,maintaining, and troubleshooting renewable gas systems and associated equipment across multiple facilities. This role requires a high degree of physical mobility and the ability to respond quickly and decisively toequipmentmalfunctions, safety risks, and hazardous conditions—including those caused by severe weather events. The technician must be prepared to travel between sites at short notice andmaintainsite safety and operational continuity during critical incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate andmonitorrenewable gas compression and decompression facilities, including rotating equipment, gas monitoring and metering systems, compressors, and gas delivery systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and malfunctions todetermineroot cause; perform repairs, maintenance, or replacement of components.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, including pumps and compressors.
• Maintain,modify, and repair instrumentation and control equipment (e.g., recorders, flowmeters, analyzers, and other monitoring tools).
• Serve as the lead on-site technician, coordinating operational and maintenance activities.
• Record and analyze operational data; provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on trends, availability, and production.
• Collect samples for quality testing andmaintainaccuratecompliance records.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment at all facilities.
• Assistwith process control improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Respond swiftly to urgent operational issues, including gas leaks, mechanical failures, or extreme weather-related disruptions, to ensure safety and system integrity.
• Other duties and project assignments as directed.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience with industrial equipment
• 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Valid U.S. work authorization
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and safety protocols
• Basic knowledge of PLC systems,AnalogI/O, Digital I/O, RTDProbes
• Basic knowledge ofworking withElectrical Voltages of 24vDC, 120vAC,480vAC
• Basic knowledge of troubleshooting 480v Motors, and VFD’s
• Ability to read Electrical Schematics and P&ID Drawings
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation and work instructions
• Experience with wastewater or gas processing systems (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• High degree of self-motivation and initiative
• Mustdemonstratephysical agility and endurance to navigate industrial sites quickly, including stairs, ladders, confined spaces, and uneven terrain
• Ability tomaintainsituational awareness and composure in hazardous or time-sensitive environments
• Standing for extended periods

• Working with and around hazardous materials
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and severe weather events
• Use of required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, air masks, hearing protection)
• Participation in on-call rotation for rapid response to operational incidents
• Ability to work in high-stress or emergency environments, including immediate response to hazardous gas conditions or mechanical failures
• Must be capable of rapid deployment between sites, often under unpredictable or challenging field conditions

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
• On-call rotation for after-hours and weekend coverage
• Primary site locations:Enterprise, AL
• Occasional travel toadditionalfacilities (20%)
