Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking a 1st shift Technician to lead daily operations of a high-speed lamp production line in Hillsboro, NH. You will work with maintenance and engineering to ensure safety, quality, and on-time output.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, implementing process improvements, maintaining SPC records, and training production staff across shifts. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• 2-5 years minimum related mechanical & technical experience.
• Willingness to attend training or formal classes/certifications required for the position.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively work with all skill levels.
• Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job.

• Fosters team excellence by supporting managers, supervisors, maintenance foreman, engineers and hourly production associates.
• Utilizes testing equipment and follows detailed product specifications and prints; maintains production, quality, SPC and maintenance records.

Your new responsibilities

• Job Summary:
• Works independently with limited supervision leading daily operations of teams or groups, or as a higher-level technical resource.
• Maintains production requirements, provides training, and directs process improvements, as well as optimization of the processes and equipment to improve efficiency,outputand performance.
• Monitors the operation and maintenance of assigned pieces of complex high-speed lamp making equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• This machinery includes electrical,pneumaticand mechanical components that interact simultaneously,comprising ofa production line system.
• In conjunction with department Maintenance Foreman,Engineersand Management, they will develop process,maintenanceand equipment improvement strategies to yield continuous improvement results.
• The Technician will also foster team excellence through direct support for the Managers, Maintenance Foreman, Supervisors,Engineersand hourly production associates.
• Will be required to utilize various forms of testing equipment, follow detailed product specifications and prints.
• Will be required to maintain the appropriate production, quality, SPC, maintenance records for assigned position, and to interact with machine information systems.
• At any time may assist in lower grade jobs in the department
• Ability to perform project work.
• The incumbent must be able to work flexible hours (overtime, weekends) and shutdown periods as required on a continual basis to address the technical concerns and needs of all shifts and the department.

Pay Rate: $30/hour
