COMPENSATION FOR THIS ROLE: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour

General Responsibilities
  • Works with a commitment to safety

Specific Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities for Security
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic electrical principals
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and installs cabling needed for various field devices
Responsibilities For AV Installs Cable And Hardware, Which Includes
  • Audio connections
  • Rough in cable according to design
  • Installs speakers - knows basics of 8ohm versus 70/100 volt system
  • Solders, XLR and other various connectors.
  • Knowledge of Displays/projectors and hardware of all types
Date Connections, Including
  • Cat5 and Cat6 568A/B terminations
  • Understanding shielded and unshielded part numbers and use STP-UTP
  • DM connections
  • Building and testing patch cables by using Cat5/RJ45 tester etc.
  • Understanding function/installation specs
  • Knowing basic electrical
Uses a Multimeter To
  • Test power supplies/change polarity
  • Continuity/ohm check connectors and cables
  • Understands AC and DC testing
Responsibilities for BAS
  • Basic understanding and ability in conduit bending and install and taking training if needed
  • Basic electrical understanding
  • Basic HVAC understanding
  • Ability to perform with power tools effectively and safely.
Responsibilities for Telecom
  • Proficient with basic hand tools
  • Able to establish pathways
  • Able to label and pull cable
  • Able to follow directions from supervisors
  • Able to work in a team setting

Requirements
