Job summary

The Maine Department of Transportation is seeking a Technician to perform a variety of technical tasks in the field and office, working as Chief Inspector (or Resident) on active construction projects. The role requires reviewing plans, drafting diagrams and reports, and collecting data for trend analysis.

Salary ranges from $50,507.08 to $70,867.68 per year with a comprehensive benefits package including holidays, vacation, health insurance, retirement, and more.

• Assuring that work inspected meets the standard specifications and contract requirements and is tested as per policy and meets expected quality.
