Job summary

National Seating & Mobility in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Technician to install, repair, and service seating and mobility equipment. You will respond to service calls across branch, field, and care environments, assemble equipment per specs, and ensure timely delivery to clients.

Work with a collaborative team including Branch Manager and Rehab Technology Specialist, uphold HEARTS values, maintain inventory, training, and customer service while helping clients regain independence.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 pounds or more with or without accommodations.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and perform quality repairs in diverse environments (branch, field, clinic, schools, care homes).
• Assemble seating, mobility, ADL and home accessibility equipment per specs.
• Maintain inventory control for custom, special orders and stock items.
• Deliver equipment per directions from Branch operations and Field leadership, including fittings and training.
• Provide technical support to Rehab Technology Specialist as needed.

Position Highlights

• Responds to service calls and makes quality repairs in multiple and various environments to include branch, field, clinic, schools, and care homes
• Assembles seating, mobility, specialty ADL and home accessibility equipment per factory and clinical specifications
• Provides inventory control and counts for all custom, special orders and stock items processed in the branch.
• Delivers equipment as directed by Branch operations and Field leaders to include fitting, instruction, compliance, and customer service requirements
• Provide Technical Support to Rehab Technology Specialist as needed and directed by Operational Branch and Field leadership
