Job summary

PlusAI is seeking a hands-on engineering role in our Silicon Valley lab to support assembly and integration of autonomous vehicle hardware. You will fabricate, assemble, and wire harnesses, integrate sensors and power systems, and collaborate across mechanical and electrical teams to resolve issues with care and precision.

Responsibilities

• Build autonomous vehicles by:
  • Helping fabricated components
  • Helping build harnesses
  • Integrating sensors, compute, harnesses onto the vehicles
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve mechanical & electrical issues.
• Maintain high standard of safety and organization in our lab
• Integrating systems including AC/DC high and low voltages, structural components, coolant, CAN, and scripting.
• Provide careful, detail-oriented documentation during tests, and inspections
• Communicate technical questions and findings in a concise and descriptive manner
• Diagnose and troubleshoot test setup errors and failures.
• Willing to travel to support internal and external testing plans
