Job summary

RWC Group in Everett, WA is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to grow diagnostic skills, perform increasingly complex repairs, and develop into a Journeyman. You'll work on trucks and buses with OEM training.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, accurate repair documentation, and collaboration with Service Advisors. ASE certifications and OEM training are a plus; we support career advancement and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of diesel, heavy truck, automotive, or heavy equipment repair experience.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and most routine repairs independently.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with developing diagnostic skills.
• Pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and general mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, HVAC, fuel, and drivetrain systems.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic software and electronic service information.
• Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
• Perform operational checks and road tests when authorized.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and communicate findings with Service Advisors and customers.
• Assist Apprentice Technicians while continuing to develop your own technical expertise.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

What You\'ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and general mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, HVAC, fuel, and drivetrain systems.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic software and electronic service information.
• Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.

We\'re Looking For Someone Who

• Has 2-5 years of diesel, heavy truck, automotive, or heavy equipment repair experience.
• Can independently perform preventative maintenance and most routine repairs.
• Has strong mechanical aptitude and developing diagnostic skills.
• Takes pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Has a valid driver\'s license (CDL is a plus or willingness to obtain).
• ASE certifications and OEM training are a plus—but we\'re committed to helping you continue your professional development.
