Job summary

Byerly RV, the #1 Motorhome Dealership in the St. Louis market, is seeking experienced Service Technicians to advance their careers.

You will diagnose, inspect, and repair RVs including travel trailers and motorhomes, performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance, with training and potential RVTI certification within 90 days. We offer training, a supportive environment, and incentives as you grow.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean, insurable driving record and pass a background check.
• Ability to use technology such as a smart tablet to enter in Complaint, Cause, and Correction.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong time management skills with ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Team player and dependable behavior.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair recreational vehicles including travel trailers, motorhomes, and fifth wheels.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance including repair of electrical systems, water/heating, propane, slide out, satellite, and roof sealing/replacement
• Install hitches for travel trailers
• Install brake controllers
• Meet with customers providing demonstrations and instructions for use and functions
• Tow trailers and 5thwheels and drive all sizes of motorhomes
• Maintain safety, quality and superior customer satisfaction
• Attend ongoing training provided by Byerly RV
• Become Level 1 RVTI Certified paid by Byerly RV - within 90 days of hire
