Job summary

International Automotive Technicians' Network, Inc. is seeking an automotive technician to service a broad range of vehicles. You start with a work order, perform the listed repairs, and add recommendations before handing the work order back to the writer. A test drive may be required.

You will earn a base hourly rate plus commission on parts and labor sold, with Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm shifts and paid holidays. A week of spring and fall vacation is provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ years Engine Performance / Driveability Analysis & Repair.
• 1+ years Engine Mechanical Analysis & Repair.
• 1+ years Chassis / Suspension / Alignment Analysis & Repair.
• 1+ years HVAC Analysis & Repair.
• 1+ years Braking System Analysis & Repair.
• ASE certification or other automotive certification.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and perform the listed repairs.
• Check vehicle and provide additional recommendations to the service writer.
• Test drive the vehicle when necessary and confirm findings.
• Return completed work orders with notes and additional items listed.
• We pay base hourly rate plus commission on parts and labor sold.

Since we work on lots of different types of vehicles a broad experience base would be great. You would start out with a work order from one of the service writers, perform the work that is already on the work order while checking out the vehicle then take the work order to the service writer with additional recommendations. Test drive the vehicle if necessary. You will then get the work order back with any additional items listed. We pay on Friday each week. You will have a base hourly rate plus commission on parts and labor that you sell. We work Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. We take all major holidays with pay and a weeks vacation in the spring and a week in the fall with pay. We keep scan tools and most of the required specialty tools that you will need.
