Job summary

MPW Industrial Services in Batesville, IN is seeking a Production Support Laborer to help maintain workflow efficiency, quality, and safety in our facility. This hands-on role supports material handling, cleaning, and general labor tasks while collaborating with a crew and supervisors to meet production targets.

You will perform packing, loading, pressure washing, material movement, and routine housekeeping; operate forklifts and overhead cranes after training; follow OSHA PPE rules; and

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail for material handling and inventory-related tasks.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, and perform repetitive physical tasks during 8–12 hour shifts.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules based on production demands.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily production activities to reduce downtime and maintain efficiency.
  • Pack, sort, and load automotive parts, tooling, and materials.
  • Pressure wash customer parts and equipment according to production standards.
  • Move materials safely throughout the area.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Report equipment issues or production delays to supervisors.
  • Work with team to meet customer expectations and goals.

  • Assist with additional production, cleaning, or labor duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need

  • Ability to work around industrial equipment, noise, moving machinery, water, cleaning solutions, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to wear required PPE including gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, and steel‑toe footwear.
  • Ability to safely operate tools, production equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes after training.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules based on production demands.
