Job summary

Total Talent Resources is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician in Batavia, IL to perform product testing and inspections in a fast paced manufacturing setting. The role includes PPAP evaluations, documentation, and reporting of test results.

Responsibilities cover validation testing, calibration, safety compliance, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams. First shift hours are 7am–3:30pm, with occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform validation testing on new and existing products.
• Execute mechanical, electrical, thermal, environmental, cycle-life, and performance testing.
• Prepare test samples, fixtures, and laboratory equipment.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Inspect components against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct PPAP dimensional evaluations where required.
• Process and investigate returned products and warranty claims to determine root cause, repairability and refurbishment requirements.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform electrical diagnostics using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, and other laboratory test equipment.
• Operate, maintain, and verify calibration status of laboratory equipment.
• Prepare detailed laboratory test reports and maintain electronic records.
• Document inspection results, nonconformances, and engineering observations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
