Job summary

Alps Alpine NA, Inc. is seeking a fabrication/technician to build acoustic enclosures and mounts, and to modify vehicle interiors for component fit. You will also set up wiring, perform testing, and document results in organized records.

You should have 2+ years in fabrication, read schematics well, and maintain safety standards. This role supports manufacturing with hands-on tool use and quality control processes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fabrication is a plus.
  • Min 2+ years of experience in a fabrication or technician role preferred.
  • Proficient with fabrication tools and machinery.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with SDS sheets.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate acoustic enclosures, component housings, and mounts as required.
  • Modify the interior structure of vehicles to fit components and install wiring per specs.
  • Create product testing and evaluation fixtures.
  • Manage the lab and woodshop; organize tools, parts, and materials.
  • Speaker enclosure testing and wiring documentation; maintain spreadsheets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Fabricate acoustic enclosures, component housing, and mounts as required.
  • Modify the interior structure of vehicles to fit components and install and configure electrical wiring as required for the installation of audio and electronic products per customer and or engineering specification.
  • Create product testing and evaluation fixtures.
  • Manage the lab and woodshop and create a better organization of tools, parts, and materials.
  • Speaker enclosure testing and wiring documentation (Running audio sweep tester, labeling parts, creating and filling out spreadsheets).
  • Fabricate acoustic enclosures, component housings and mounts as required.
  • Positions that fall under the functions of Product Development, Legal, HR, IT and Executive Management are required to exercise a higher-level confidentiality and discretion in handling information the positions have access to.
  • Provide support toward the certification and ensure compliance to customer required quality management systems (TISAX, TS16949, IATF, etc..)

  • This position will drive for company's business.

  • Supervision is typically received from Engineering Mangement.

  • This position typically does not require the supervision of staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fabrication, machining, or
    welding is a plus.
  • Min 2+ years of experience in a fabrication or technician role preferred.
  • Proficient with fabrication tools and machinery.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with SDS sheets.

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license required
