Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Technician for a leading biotechnology and veterinary pharmaceutical organization in Ames, IA. The role supports the manufacture of veterinary biological products and requires attention to detail and teamwork within a regulated environment.

Typical duties include warehousing, material handling, inventory maintenance, shipping preparation, and basic lab-related production tasks. Weekly pay with a Monday–Thursday 7:00am–4:30pm schedule and some Friday mornings as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Familiarity with laboratory or manufacturing procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and good mathematical skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and wear PPE in an aseptic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic warehousing and material handling activities, including unloading trucks, material movements, and order fulfillment.
• Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Assist in preparing materials for shipping and operate equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Work with dry ice and perform other duties related to production support.
• Support laboratory procedures related to the production of veterinary biologicals, including media preparation and cell culture activities.

Our client, a leading organization in the biotechnology and veterinary pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Technician to join their team. As a Technician, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the manufacturing of vital veterinary biological products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a continuous improvement mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technician

Location: Ames, IA

Pay Range: $20.00 hour Weekly pay (Fridays)

Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 4:30pm, with Friday mornings as needed to hit 40 hours
