Job summary

Energy Job Shop seeks experienced HVAC Technicians for the North Slope, AK. You will perform maintenance, repairs and installation of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems in remote, challenging environments.

The role requires five years of experience, EPA-608 certification, and a strong safety mindset. Eligible candidates will work on a 21-28 day rotation, 11.5-hour days, and must pass pre-employment checks. DOE compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited HVAC course.
• Refrigerant Handling Card (EPA608).
• Ability to read blueprints and prepare estimates.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Refrigerant Handling Card (EPA608)
• Valid State ID, Driver’s License, or government-issued ID
• At least five years of relevant work experience
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work 21-28 day rotational schedule, 11.5 hours per day
• Ability to pass pre-hire drug, alcohol, occupational, computer-based, and background checks
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read blueprints and prepare estimates
• Knowledge of OSHA and company safety requirements
