Job summary

Navitas Business Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer in the DC Metro area to manage enterprise documentation across modernization programs. You will ensure 508 compliance, maintain repositories, and produce governance reports for AI and risk assessments.

The role requires a Top Secret/SCI-eligible clearance, a CS/engineering/data science background, and 10+ years in solution architecture with a track record in modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Active Secret required; Top Secret with SCI eligibility preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field; Master preferred.
• 10+ years of solution architecture experience.
• Experience leading enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Experience with microservices, cloud-native architectures, and DevSecOps.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and Section 508 compliance across deliverables.
• Maintain document repositories and configuration records.
• Produce AI governance documentation, model cards, and risk assessment reports.

Salary Range: $85k - $100k
