RELI Group is seeking a Technical Writer/Executive Communication Specialist to provide senior-level technical writing and documentation support for Federal programs, including briefings, information papers, and executive summaries.

Based in a Government HQ environment, the role supports senior leaders, interagency engagements, and standardized templates, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all written products.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Communications, English, Professional Writing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience performing similar duties.
  • Experience supporting Federal programs from a technical writing focus.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to work with sensitive but unclassified information in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a Government HQ environment.
  • Ability to prepare high-quality draft products for Government review and approval.

Responsibilities

  • Support preparation, editing, formatting, and quality control of written products for Government Review and approval.
  • Support Senior leader briefings, information papers, decision papers, read ahead, talking points, executive summaries and issue papers.
  • Support external communication preparation for interagency coordination products, industry engagement materials, and international engagement materials.
  • Support documentation management processes that include maintaining document repositories and version control.
  • Support development and maintenance of operational documents including SOPs and strategic planning documents.
  • Provide expertise in format and document standardization. Including development of templates.
  • Quality control review for grammar, consistency, clarity and organization.

The Technical Writer/ Executive Communication Specialist provides senior-level technical writing and documentation support for Federal programs, developing and refining high-quality written products for Government review and approval. This role supports executive and senior leader communications, including briefings, decision and information papers, talking points, executive summaries, and issue papers, as well as materials for interagency, industry, and international engagements. The position also supports document management, operational documentation, templates, and standardization while ensuring written products meet established standards for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and organization. The ideal candidate brings extensive Federal technical writing experience, exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a Government headquarters environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000 - $127,000.Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
