Pentair is seeking a Technical Writer for our Manitowoc, WI team to produce high-quality documentation for the global product line, including installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting manuals in print and online formats. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers and subject-matter experts to translate complex data into clear, user-friendly publications.

Qualifications

Technical Degree and a minimum of 3 years previous experience or 5 years previous technical documentation experience.
Deliver high quality documentation, formatting for print and website publication.
Translate technical concepts into clear written and visual materials; strong verbal and written communication.
Read engineering documents, drawings, and BOMs; monitor changes for literature.
Collaborate with subject-matter experts to gather relevant data.
Proficient with Adobe CC, FrameMaker/Legacy, Pro/E/CAD/3D, Microsoft Office, and CMS.

Responsibilities

Service documentation development, maintenance, and publishing of Bulletins, Instructions, Installation, Operation, Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Parts Manuals
NPI and other development team participation and support
Interpret engineering data for non-technical users
Create line drawings, diagrams and reference photos
Communicate product changes and documentation revisions to internal teams, customers, and online resources
