Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. in San Diego, CA, seeks a Technical Writer to support ORCA/MBSE documentation. You will edit and format manuals, training materials, and technical drawings for software and hardware.

The role emphasizes collaboration with analysts and engineers to ensure accurate, clear documentation across projects. Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of technical writing experience are required, along with strong editing skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office,

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Mathematics, Computer Software or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical writing, editing, or documentation.
• Ability to create technical test documents, user manuals and installation guides.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills; interacting with all levels of personnel.
• Familiarity with software development concepts and DoD industry standards.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Edit and format text, illustrations, diagrams, charts, and tables according to editorial conventions.
• Provide training and guidance on publication and graphic requirements.
• Coordinate production activities from draft to final publication.
• Develop department editing standards and interpret government standards.
• Assist with writing on presentation materials, reports and documents.
