Job summary

Solutions³ LLC is seeking a Technical Writer & Editor III to support our government customer with on-site incident response and post-event documentation. You will develop and edit cybersecurity communications, SOPs, CONOPS, and action reports for internal and external audiences, working with incident management teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of technical writing, a Bachelor’s degree (or 7+ years experience with HS diploma), US citizenship, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical writing experience including cybersecurity communications deliverables for internal and external audiences.
• Developing and reviewing cybersecurity documentation, procedures, plans, action reports, and meeting minutes.
• Preparing, reviewing, editing, and maintaining program documents, SOPs, CONOPS, and internal team messaging.
• Maintaining diagrams and charts of team engagement reports.
• Experience with government records related to cybersecurity activities and SOPs.
• Fluent in AP Style and government-directed style guides.
• Ability to translate technical material into concise narratives for readers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Incident Management teams to obtain input data and deliver clear cybersecurity communications.
• Create, edit, and maintain SOPs, CONOPS, and technical documents for internal and external audiences.
• Prepare executive-level briefings and summary materials as needed.
• Publish and manage government records related to cybersecurity activities.
• Support on-site engagement with 8:00–16:30, Monday–Friday, in a fast-paced environment.

Description:
Solutions³ LLC is supporting our prime contractor and their U.S. Government customer to provide support for onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution. Contract personnel perform investigations to characterize of the severity of breaches, develop mitigation plans, and assist with the restoration of services. Solutions³ LLC is seeking a Technical Writer to support this critical customer mission.

• 5+ years of technical writing experience including developing cybersecurity communications deliverables such as documentation, plans, action reports, and meeting minutes for internal and external audiences
• Developing and reviewing technical communications deliverables including cybersecurity documentation, operational procedures, plans, action reports, and meeting minutes, coordinating with Incident Management teams to obtain necessary input data.
• Preparing, reviewing, editing, and maintaining program technical documents, standard operating procedures, work instructions, CONOPS, and internal team messaging.
• Maintaining statistical diagrams and charts of team engagement reports.
• Must be able to work on-site 0800-1630 M-F
• Experience with creating and maintaining government records associated with cybersecurity activities, documentation, and SOPs.
• Excellent hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Products, and GSuite.
• Fluid technical writing and editing skills, including the use of AP Style and/or government agency directed style guides.
• Ability to work with technical cyber analysts to evaluate material and break it down into concise, compelling narrative that engages the reader.
• Ability to work under pressure with engagement leads, technical analysts, and subject matter experts in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment to ensure timely product release.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity communications terminology, concepts, and subject matter.
• Experience with creating technical briefings including executive leadership briefings.
• Understanding of different communication styles and formats
  Desired Certifications: Sec+, ITILv4
  Required Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in English, Business or related; or High School diploma with 7+ years of technical writing and editing experience
