Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive Operation and Maintenance Manuals for ATE testers, including safety guidelines, system operation procedures, maintenance instructions and spare parts lists, calibration and adjustment processes.
• Collaborate with engineers to create training materials covering system operation and component overview, troubleshooting known and potential issues, software module operation, sequence, and code highlights.
• Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and quality standards for medical device manufacturing.
• Work closely with engineering teams throughout design and manufacturing phases to gather accurate technical information.
• Manage documentation timelines and deliverables.

Job Type: Contract (W2)

Compensation: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour

About the Role

Dahl Consulting is partnering with a leading medical device manufacturer to hire a Technical Writer. This role is essential in supporting the engineering team by developing clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation and training materials for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems used in the testing and production of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive Operation and Maintenance Manuals for ATE testers, including safety guidelines, system operation procedures, maintenance instructions and spare parts lists, calibration and adjustment processes.
• Collaborate with engineers to create training materials covering system operation and component overview, troubleshooting known and potential issues, software module operation, sequence, and code highlights.
• Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and quality standards for medical device manufacturing.
• Work closely with engineering teams throughout design and manufacturing phases to gather accurate technical information.
