Alturas Analytics, Inc. in Moscow, Idaho is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to produce regulatory and business documents with accuracy and clarity.

You will collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality standards. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in physical, biological or chemistry science, has strong MS Office and Adobe Acrobat skills, and 1+ year of technical writing experience.

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Acrobat suite.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may qualify the appropriate personnel for this position

Responsibilities

• Prepares final reports per Alturas Analytics, Inc. and client guidelines including spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting, etc.
• Verifies that the raw data used in the final report was captured correctly for the final report preparation
• Works closely with the project lead and/or personnel responsible for the generation of a specific report to ensure time lines and quality issues are addressed
• May prepare other technical documents as requested
• May perform QC review of reports if needed
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned

The ideal candidate takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality technical and regulatory documents, has a keen eye for detail, and can effectively collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and quality standards.

This position is on-site in Moscow, Idaho.

Position Summary

The Technical Writer is responsible for writing all regulatory related and required documents as well as other business documents and correspondence.

Essential Duties and Tasks

• Prepares final reports per Alturas Analytics, Inc. and client guidelines including spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting, etc.

Starting Salary

$50,000, DOE

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (physical, biological or chemistry science preferred)

Nice to have

• 1+ years of technical or professional writing experience preferred
• Previous experience in a chemistry or bioanalytical laboratory testing facility is preferred
