Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a skilled Technical Training Specialist to oversee and deliver training across administrative, clinical, and physician staff, supporting information systems and technology initiatives.

You will develop training strategies, maintain LMS records, and coordinate schedules, ensuring compliance and effective knowledge transfer in a dynamic hospital environment. This full-time role requires collaboration with a diverse team and a patient-first mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Training and Development, Education, or related field; or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • 1 year of experience in facilitation in computer software and healthcare business systems
  • Demonstrated experience in development and editing of instructional material
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating technical training classes and group discussion resulting in application and performance results

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical training and orientation to multiple stakeholders, including administrative, clinical, and physician professional.
  • Conducts training needs, job task, and job analysis to develop technical training strategy to support Information Systems & Technology's project management protocol when introducing new hardware and software.
  • Develops and maintains technical training schedule and employee transcript in the learning management system.

Job Description

Oversees team responsible for and takes part in creating, grouping, and analyzing data sets to support clinical studies occurring at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta under the supervision of a Principal Investigator. Proactively supports efforts that ensure research integrity and compliance and services to promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Communicates all relevant policy and procedure updates/revisions as directed by Manager.

Experience
  • 1 year of experience in facilitation in computer software and healthcare business systems
  • Demonstrated experience in development and editing of instructional material
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating technical training classes and group discussion resulting in application and performance results
