Overview

Role: Technical Test Lead - Functional Tester, SQL, ORACLE, and UNIX (Domain Banking Financial Services) (Interview on 29th Aug 2017)

Location: Irvine, CA

Duration: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing effort for functional testing, SQL, Oracle, and UNIX domains within a banking/financial services context.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, communicate test status, and report on test results and coverage.
• Track and report activities including test results, test case coverage, defects discovered, and their status.

Qualifications

• Basic: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Basic: At least 4 years of experience with IT.
• Preferred: At least 4 years of experience in test strategy and test design.
• Preferred: At least 4 years of experience in test execution, analysis & reporting.
• Preferred: Strong coordination, communication & reporting, leadership skills and ability to work in a multi/diverse stakeholder environment; People coordination.
• Preferred: Experience in Agile methodology and knowledge of Quality processes with experience on test management tools like Quality Center, JIRA.
• Preferred: Experience tracking and reporting activities including test results, test case coverage, defects discovered and their status.
• Preferred: Experience working in SQL, Oracle, and UNIX and understanding of financial domain / Capital Markets / Investment Management business requirements.
• Preferred: Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Preferred: Experience and willingness to work in a global delivery environment.
