The IT Systems Engineer II is a role designed for professionals with a solid background in IT systems and a passion for maintaining and optimizing IT infrastructure. This position is responsible for managing and troubleshooting IT systems to ensure their reliability and efficiency. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and software applications, managing network configurations, and implementing virtualization technologies. Additionally, the IT Systems Engineer II will develop automation scripts, design backup and recovery procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and initiatives. In this role, you will install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications while managing and troubleshooting network configurations and protocols to ensure seamless connectivity. You will implement and manage virtualization technologies to optimize resource utilization and develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline IT processes and improve efficiency. A key responsibility will be to design and implement backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity. Additionally, you will perform routine system administration tasks, including user account management, system monitoring, and resource allocation, and utilize basic system administration tools to manage shared resources such as file systems and printers. You will distinguish between system processes/services and user processes, managing authentication and authorization processes, and administer local and network resources to ensure proper resource sharing and access control. Leveraging Windows administrative tools, you will manage system configurations and Active Directory, administer networked and distributed computing environments, including routing and remote access services, and modify deployed group policies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives will be essential, and you will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

Pay Range: $87,156.00 - $119,839.50 Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
