Job summary

Daikin Applied, a global leader in HVAC solutions, is seeking a Technical Support Supervisor for Commercial HVAC. The role oversees HVAC Technical Service Advisors, ensures resources and training, and maintains cross-team communication to deliver timely support. Remote work from Plymouth, MN option is available within the U.S.

market. You will guide complex troubleshooting when needed, build technical resources, and help shape a scalable service organization focused on growth and service

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in HVAC or mechanical engineering (preferred).
• 6+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Outstanding relationship management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide product or service information to customers and ensure the best possible service.
• Maintain effective communications between all dimensions of the company.
• Maintain a competent, motivated, and well-trained staff to carry out duties.
• Provide technical support and product information to customers and employees via referrals/other calls.
• Develop technical resources to minimize internal response time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

In this critical position, he or she will oversee a team of HVAC Technical Service Advisors and assure that they have the resources to perform their jobs in a timely manner. In addition, this key contributor is responsible for maintaining effective lines of communication throughout the business unit. Minimum Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher - preferably in HVAC or mechanical engineering-related discipline
• 6+ Years of commercial HVAC experience
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

The typical pay rate for the position ranges from $90,000.00 - $153,000 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position(s) fall. Individual hourly pay rate will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
