Job summary

Insight Global is urgently seeking a Technical Support Representative in Auburn Hills, MI to support a global commercial vehicle supplier. You will handle inbound calls from drivers, foremen, technicians and warranty analysts, assisting with triage, troubleshooting and diagnostics of product and maintenance systems for heavy-duty components.

Insight Global is looking for a Technical Support Representative to support a global commercial vehicle supplier in the Auburn Hills, Michigan area. This individual will take inbound phone calls from truck drivers, shop foremen, dealership technicians, and warranty analysts.

They will assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues related to product support, warranty claims, and maintenance systems for medium and heavy‑duty truck and trailer components.

This role operates in an open, collaborative call center environment and requires the ability to work on a computer and keyboard while speaking with customers on the phone. The team consists of approximately 15 Technical Support Representatives and encourages teamwork and shared problem‑solving.

Must Haves

• High School Diploma or GED
• Hands‑on experience with Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and Electrical systems
• Customer service experience (phone-based preferred)
• CRM experience
• Strong soft skills and communication ability

Plusses

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (Automotive Technology, Engineering, or related field)
• Experience working at a dealership or automotive support store (AutoZone, O’Reilly’s, NAPA, Advanced Auto Parts)
• Warranty knowledge
• Experience or knowledge of air disc brakes
• Hands‑on vehicle repair experience
