A leading company in the Computers and Electronics Manufacturing industry is seeking a Technical Support professional for a remote, entry-level contract position. The role involves assisting users with hardware and software issues, ensuring data integrity, and supporting onboarding of new associates. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, with technical certifications preferred, and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Location: (Remote)
Duration: Temp Contract
Pay rate: $15.54/hr on W2
Schedule: M-F 8am to 4:30pm EST (4 Shifts), M-F 1:30pm to 10pm EST (2 Shifts), M, T, W, F, Sat 8am to 4:30pm EST (2 Shifts), M, T, W, F, Sat 1:30pm to 10pm EST (2 Shifts)
Advises and assists users via telephone, email, or chat to resolve incidents related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripherals. Screens, diagnoses, researches, and resolves user issues. Maintains passwords, data integrity, and file system security. Supports onboarding of new associates, including laptop/desktop configuration, system access, and security clearances. Documents service requests and dispatches to support groups. Ensures maximum uptime and meets SLAs.
