Job Title: Technical Support

Location: (Remote)

Duration: Temp Contract

Pay rate: $15.54/hr on W2

Schedule: M-F 8am to 4:30pm EST (4 Shifts), M-F 1:30pm to 10pm EST (2 Shifts), M, T, W, F, Sat 8am to 4:30pm EST (2 Shifts), M, T, W, F, Sat 1:30pm to 10pm EST (2 Shifts)

Job Profile Summary:

Advises and assists users via telephone, email, or chat to resolve incidents related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripherals. Screens, diagnoses, researches, and resolves user issues. Maintains passwords, data integrity, and file system security. Supports onboarding of new associates, including laptop/desktop configuration, system access, and security clearances. Documents service requests and dispatches to support groups. Ensures maximum uptime and meets SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Answer moderately complex questions, following guidelines and applying judgment based on experience.
  2. Support hardware, software, client and COTS applications, network, and user administration.
  3. Escalate complex problems to resolver teams or vendors.
  4. Use problem-solving skills to resolve incidents effectively.
  5. Support L1 agents with daily queries related to incidents and requests.
Key Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical certification or Associate Degree may be required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
