We are looking for a Technical Superintendent to join our Marine Acquisitions team. You’ll be based in Norway (Bergen) or Gatwick (UK).
Our industry leading fleet of high-capacity towed streamer and ocean bottom vessels operate globally. They require constant support to ensure they can deliver high quality surveys.
Playing a primary role in our daily maritime operations, you will lead all technical support for your assigned vessels, supervise maintenance routines and ensure compliance.
Working closely with operation managers and crewing, you’ll also guide maritime budgets and offshore crew development.
You’ll have extensive experience offshore within the geophysical maritime industry with a broad technical background.
Experience managing complex projects and working with multiple key stakeholders will be essential. You’ll also be agile - adapting to constantly changing deadlines and priorities.
Finally, as you will be part of a global team, previous international work experience would be beneficial.
We’re looking for someone with a solutions-oriented mindset, good judgement and the confidence to make decisions independently.
You’ll be an excellent communicator who is able to build relationships with both internal and external colleagues.
Your flexibility and openness to travel when required will be required to complete your role for duties such as dry dockings and technical stops.
