Job summary

Shearwater GeoServices, a global marine geoscience and technology company, invites a Technical Superintendent to join the Marine Acquisitions team. Based in Norway (Bergen) or Gatwick, UK, you’ll lead technical support for our vessel fleet.

Can you provide technical support for our vessels?

We are looking for a Technical Superintendent to join our Marine Acquisitions team. You’ll be based in Norway (Bergen) or Gatwick (UK).

Our industry leading fleet of high-capacity towed streamer and ocean bottom vessels operate globally. They require constant support to ensure they can deliver high quality surveys.

Playing a primary role in our daily maritime operations, you will lead all technical support for your assigned vessels, supervise maintenance routines and ensure compliance.

Working closely with operation managers and crewing, you’ll also guide maritime budgets and offshore crew development.

Technically speaking…

You’ll have extensive experience offshore within the geophysical maritime industry with a broad technical background.

Experience managing complex projects and working with multiple key stakeholders will be essential. You’ll also be agile - adapting to constantly changing deadlines and priorities.

Finally, as you will be part of a global team, previous international work experience would be beneficial.
