Job summary

Accord Technologies Inc in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Technical Specialist with strong Z/OS and mainframe expertise for a 12-month W2 contract onsite. The role requires extensive experience with Endevor release management, SQL and DB2, plus CICS, IMS, and JCL.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Z/OS and related mainframe components.
• 7+ years of Endevor release and configuration management experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and DB2, with ability to optimize complex queries.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mainframe expert across Z/OS, CICS, DB2, IMS and JCL.
• Provide CM/Release management guidance for Endevor.
• Evaluate and optimize SQL queries for performance and cost savings.
• Support CICS administration and debugging interfacing with developers and clients.

Required Experience

• Knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality (7+ Years)
• Experience providing configuration management / release management support and guidance for Endevor software (7+ Years)
• Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques (7+ Years)
• Knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2 (7+ Years)
• Ability to evaluate complex SQL queries (7+ Years)

Preferred Experience

• Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial
