Travelers is seeking a motivated Technical Specialist within the Strategic Resolution Group to handle complex toxic tort, latent injury, sexual misconduct and environmental claims with significant financial exposure. You will manage moderate to large claims, develop strategies, and ensure efficient resolution with strong customer service.

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
Salary Range $85,600.00 - $141,200.00
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team player to join our Strategic Resolution Group Claim team as a Technical Specialist handling complex toxic tort, latent injury, sexual misconduct and/or environmental claims that may present significant financial exposures. With general supervision, you will manage moderate to large exposure claims with complex liability and coverage issues, with the goal of developing strategies to ensure that claims are successfully resolved in the most efficient and effective way while meeting established protocols and delivering optimal customer service. As you meet the challenges of an ever-changing litigation landscape, you will maintain and develop a strong understanding of applicable law in multiple jurisdictions enhancing your ability to successfully manage complex coverage and liability issues.
Job specific or technical competencies:
In order to perform the essential functions of this job, acquisition and maintenance of Insurance License(s) may be required to comply with state and Travelers requirements. Generally, license(s) must be obtained within three months of starting the job.
