Keystone Communications in Williamsport, PA is seeking a Technical Specialist to deliver fast and effective technical support within SLA. You will install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including intrusion alarms, nurse call, video surveillance, access control, and data networks.

This role serves as the primary technical interface to customers, coordinating hardware and software delivery, performing on-site installation, and responding to emergency repairs.

Qualifications

  • Experience with network cabling and termination.
  • Experience with low voltage communication systems preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication; ability to explain technical concepts to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and integrate low voltage systems (Intrusion Alarms, Nurse Call, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Data Networks).
  • Perform maintenance on equipment using manuals and guidelines.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests and ensure timely service.
  • Handle customer inquiries after training.
  • Manage updates to customers’ systems and order required parts.
  • Complete paperwork and maintain records.
  • Build strong customer relationships.
  • Perform other duties as defined by management.

Job Summary

Keystone Communications is looking for a Technical Specialist to provide our customers with fast and useful technical support within SLA parameters. In addition, the Technical Specialist will be a contributor who is responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of customers' systems and components; including hardware, electronic equipment, networking products, software, operating systems, and wiring. This individual will be the primary technical interface to customers for the coordination of hardware and/or software support and delivery of operational services as required by the customer. The ideal candidate will have top-notch technical skills and experience, a professional manner, and excellent communication skills. Prior to electronics and/or mechanical skills are .

Responsibilities
  • Installing, servicing, and integrating a variety of low voltage systems to include Intrusion Alarms, Nurse Call System, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Data Networks, and more
  • Performs maintenance on equipment applying basic repair techniques and relying on service manual instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform repairs
  • Responds to request for emergency repairs and follows through with timely service
  • Ability to answer basic customer inquiries after being trained by the company
  • Manage updates to customers’ systems
  • Initiates requests for required equipment, parts, and supplies
  • Ensures the completion of associated paperwork and records
  • Develops good working relationships with customers
  • Other office and field duties as defined by management
