Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas is seeking a TGCM Site Services Specialist to support semiconductor customers at their facilities. The role requires safely operating and maintaining gas and chemical systems, following site procedures and contracts.

You will work on customer sites, complete safety training, and contribute to design, installation and commissioning of systems while assisting with investigations and reporting to the Site Services Manager.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred but experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of experience working with gas and chemical systems.
• Completion of required safety training per contract.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain equipment for the customer.
• Follow work instructions and procedures; suggest improvements.
• Capture and report completed work to Site Services Manager daily.
• Safely handle chemical and gas containers per work instructions.
• Assist in design, installation and commissioning of gas and chemical systems.
• Assist investigations into gas/chemical issues and identify root causes.
• Write Safe Work Permits for contractors and participate in audits.

TGCM SPECIALIST

PURPOSE

To define the job description for a TGCM (Total Gas Chemical and Management) Site Services Specialist at any customer's semiconductor facility that is serviced by Matheson.

SCOPE

The information contained in this document applies to all Matheson TGCM (Total Gas Chemical and Management) Site Services Specialist, depending on scope of work defined in contract with customer.

GENERAL

Reports to Matheson TGCM (Total Gas Chemical and Management) Site Services Manager.

Position Summary

TGCM (Total Gas Chemical and Management) Site Services Specialist work at customer\'s facilities and will perform routine duties detailed in this specification, based on terms of contract with customer.

Essential Accountabilities

Safety Function

Perform all duties following appropriate work instructions and procedures. Wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) for tasks requiring use of PPE. Bring safety issues to the attention of the Site Services Manager. Responsible for safely operating and maintaining equipment required for the customer to produce their products.Work is typically in a team environment.

Quality Function

Follow work instructions and established procedures. Bring ideas for improvement to the TGCM Site Services Manager for consideration. Work schedule will be performed by the terms of the contract with the customer. Complete all training that is required (based on scope of contract).

Productivity Function

Complete work as time permits. Capture all relevant information on completed work and send daily to TGCM Site Services Manager (and other recipients as required by the TGCM Site Services Manager).

Training, Education and Experience Required

Engineering degree preferred but experience will be considered. 5+ years of experience working with gas and chemical systems.

Detailed Description of Activities

TGCM Site Services Specialist will maintain a safe work environment.

TGCM Site Services Specialist will complete all safety training in accordance with the schedule.

TGCM Site Services Specialist is required to safely handle chemical and gas containers in accordance with work instructions.

TGCM Site Services Specialist is responsible for completing the following duties, as required by the scope of the contract in place with the customer: All work to be performed in a safe manner, following all workplace safety protocols and requirements

TGCM Site Services Specialist will maintain preventive maintenance system as required for all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance TGCM Site Services Specialist will manage critical spare parts per customer requirements Assist

TGCM Site Services manager with monthly reports and customer reporting requirements

TGCM Site Services Specialist will assist/oversee the design, installation and commissioning of gas and chemical systems

TGCM Site Services Specialist will follow and administer the Management of Change process per procedure and with the appropriate documentation for approval per customer requirements

TGCM Site Services Specialist will assist/lead investigations into gas and chemical issues and identify root cause, corrective and preventive actions Act as a backup to the TGCM Site Services Manager and communicate routinely with customer

GCM Site Service Specialist must completed Six Sigma Green Belt training Write Safe Work Permits for contractors, as needed Emergency Response Team member, as required Escalation of issues (shutdowns, safety concerns, customer requests, etc.) to the appropriate person(s), as required Participation in audits, as required Complete training to adhere to customer requirements, if required Other duties as assigned
