This position typically supports the functional aspects for assigned functions to the corporate construction group and any of the business groups. This position may serve as a Department Manager for a functional discipline.• Provide assistance and technical direction to business units• Develop departmental construction support programs and procedures• Typically manage personnel and provide an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members, including on-the-job, formal training, development opportunities, and timely performance feedback• Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across all business groups, lines, functions, and locations• Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action• Other duties as assignedBasic Job Requirements• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eighteen (18) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty-two (22) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines •Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerOther Job RequirementsPreferred Qualifications• Ability to speak/read multiple languages • Possess operational and personnel management skills• Possess problem solving, organizational, and conflict resolution skills• Extensive understanding of construction operations and support functions• Ability to collaborate and adapt to changing conditions• Capable of performing constructability assignments in the office(s) and/or at the site• Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentationsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
