Job summary

Professional Transportation Consulting, Inc. seeks a specialist on the Onshape Post Sales Technical Services team with 1–3 years in mechanical engineering or customer-support roles.

You will master the product, assist customers, and expand our library of demonstration content. Ideal candidates have experience with CAD software (Onshape, SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, Siemens NX) and strong communication.

Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic, skilled individual for a specialist-level position on the Onshape Post Sales Technical Services team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or working closely with customers in a support role. Experience in the CAD/PDM space, with a reseller or direct with a vendor, is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Experience with mechanical CAD software (Onshape, SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, Siemens NX, etc.)

Preferred Skills

• Experience and familiarity with PDM or PLM products (SOLIDWORKS PDM, Arena, Windchill, Autodesk Vault, Siemens Teamcenter)
• Experience with engineering software such as CAM, FEA/CFD, ECAD.

Salary

PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $75,000 - $85,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus.
