The incumbent researches, diagnoses, troubleshoots and identifies solutions to resolves issue by following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal team.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*** Provides technical information and identities technical opportunities.* Provides technical analysis of customer complaints.* Provides advice, council and recommendations on all matters pertaining to the technical aspects of the Company's activities.* Investigates customer issues using problem-solving techniques such as Six Sigma methodology to get at root cause of the challenging and complex issues internally and externally.* Provides feedback to R&D for new product development opportunities.* Other duties as assigned.## *Required Skills/Abilities:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff.* Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.* Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry.* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.## *Education and Experience:** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related technical degree.* Seven (7) to ten (10) years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering.* Hands on experience in specification and design of plastics tooling, equipment, and automation.* Previous project management experience.## *Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:** Exposure to machine noise.* Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production area.* Working conditions are normal for a high volume manufacturing environment.* Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds and working in and around heavy equipment.* Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.* This role may require walking in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment.Please submit your application via the ‘Apply’ button.
