Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and equipment before daily trips; fuel and perform basic maintenance.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to customer sites and complete shipment paperwork.
• Follow DOT compliance, placarding, and load segregation requirements.
• Maintain DOT logbook and act as a Company Representative with customers.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Technical Services Driver As a Technical Services Driver you will be responsible for driving and operating semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.

The hours for this position are Monday-Friday starting at 4am.

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
• Loads supplies needed for job completion and travels to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services
• Prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent order
• Drives to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous material
• Completes necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Follows proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials
• Maintains a logbook for Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
• Assists customers in troubleshooting and correcting record keeping inconsistencies and service concerns
• Acts as a Company Representative with all customers and contacts
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education

• High-school diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience

• 1+ years of Class B CDL driving experience (required)
