Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC is seeking a Technical Services Driver to operate semi-vans and various trailers, delivering and handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials. You will ensure safety, complete required paperwork, and maintain DOT logbooks while representing the company at customer sites.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to regulations, and teamwork to support our nationwide environmental services. A high-school diploma and valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement are required.

  • Drives and operates semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.
  • Loads supplies for job completion and travels to sites to perform lab pack services.
  • Inspects vehicle and equipment daily, fuels truck, and maintains safety standards.
  • Completes paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Maintains DOT compliance through logbooks and record-keeping.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Technical Services Driver As a Technical Services Driver you will be responsible for driving and operating semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
  • Loads supplies needed for job completion and travels to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services
  • Prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent order
  • Drives to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous material
  • Completes necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
  • Follows proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials
  • Maintains a logbook for Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
  • Assists customers in troubleshooting and correcting record keeping inconsistencies and service concerns
  • Acts as a Company Representative with all customers and contacts
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Education

High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
