Job summary

Mayvin is seeking a Technical Security Specialist to support the TSCM mission for a Federal Law Enforcement agency in Washington, D.C. The role requires an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ITC in TSCM, with up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities include leading TSCM missions, developing and maintaining security equipment, and communicating complex security concepts to customers. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Washington, DC, offering strong government-focused

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Government ITC in TSCM required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant TSCM experience.
• Willing to conduct shift work and travel as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) missions, including construction security.
• Perform research, selection, modification, design, maintenance, and/or development of Technical Security equipment and systems.
• Investigate and develop advanced techniques and devices to mitigate threats.
• Resolve or recommend solutions to overlapping and conflicting security requirements by interpreting directives, rules, and regulations.
• Communicate orally with customers and groups on technical security-related issues.
• Write reports documenting mission events, research findings, procedures, and other technical security-related issues.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and assist with Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Missions, including construction security
• Perform research, selection, modification, design, maintenance, and/or development of Technical Security equipment and systems
• Investigate and develop advanced techniques and devices to mitigate threats
• Resolve or recommend solutions to overlapping and conflicting security requirements by utilizing knowledge, skills, and abilities, including the ability to interpret various directives, rules, and regulations
• Communicate orally with customers and groups on technical security-related issues
• Write reports to document mission events, research findings, procedures, and other technical security-related issues

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Government certification (Interagency Training Center - ITC) in TSCM required
• Minimum 7 years of relevant TSCM experience
• Must be willing to conduct shift work and travel as needed
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Federal Law Enforcement TSCM support
