Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Technical Security Programs Analyst in Houston to coordinate enterprise security services and support the delivery of technical security solutions. You will work with stakeholders across the company and assist in the development of security programs, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities include leading project lifecycles for security systems, coordinating with security engineers, managing scope and risks, and ensuring timely delivery while aligning with business

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business, IT, Security Management, Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in project management.
• Working knowledge of access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and track project goals and timelines; coordinate with internal teams.
• Oversee full lifecycle of security system projects; align with client expectations.
• Engage with stakeholders and external contractors to maintain relationships.
• Define scope, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with Security Engineers to prepare pre-project packages for business review.
• Prioritize projects based on risk and impact; monitor progress.
• Support cross-functional teams; track tasks and foster collaboration.
• Monitor budgets and provide financial updates to leadership.
• Conduct on-site reviews to ensure standards and timelines are met.
