Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week Summer internship program in Technical Sales across North America. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers and customers to learn design, application, and sale of HVAC systems and controls.

The program develops leadership and communication skills for a future in technical sales. Open to actively enrolled undergraduates or graduates, with willingness to work onsite or in hybrid/remote settings at North American facilities.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree during the entire duration of the internship.
• U.S. citizen or has the right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Passion for continuous learning in technical fields.
• Some roles may be remote, hybrid, or on-site at North American facilities.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, calls and customer meetings.
• Be hands-on in steps from start to finish of a sales project.
• Build ownership and strong relationships with customers.
