Job summary

Fortastra is seeking a Technical Recruiter to scale our engineering and technical teams. This individual contributor will own recruiting processes, searches, and reporting with limited oversight.

You will handle full-cycle recruiting, sourcing for hard-to-fill technical positions, coordinate interviews and offers. The ideal candidate has solid technical recruiting experience in aerospace startups, strong execution discipline, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting engineers/technical professionals in aerospace, defense, software, robotics, autonomy.
• Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates for difficult-to-fill technical positions.
• Strong sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
• Experience using a greenhouse or similar applicant tracking system.
• Ability to operate effectively in high-accountability startup environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to candidate experience.

The People team owns recruiting, onboarding, and core talent processes that enable a lean, high performing engineering organization.

Qualifications and Skills

• 2+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience
• Demonstrated success recruiting engineers and technical professionals in aerospace, defense, software, robotics, autonomy, or related industries
• Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates for difficult-to-fill technical positions
• Strong sourcing experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, and direct outreach
• Experience managing multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
• Experience using Greenhouse or similar applicant tracking systems
• Ability to operate effectively in high-accountability startup environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to candidate experience

The pay range for this role is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00. Where an offer falls within that range depends on factors like your qualifications, experience, location, and interview performance, which we weigh against the market rate for the position.
