Qualifications

  • 6 years experience in Aviation Maintenance.
  • UH-60/S-70 experience required.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to locate parts on assembly drawings.
  • Experience inspecting airframe repairs and modifications.
  • Proficient with inspection hand tools (height gages, calipers, micrometers).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and exercise sound judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect completed work and verify quality and airworthiness before return to service.

Job Description

This Technical Inspector is responsible for ensuring all maintenance and repair work meets quality and airworthiness standards before aircraft components are returned to service. Day to day, they inspect completed work, review documentation, verify incoming parts and materials, and ensure proper identification and tracking of all components. They perform quality inspections throughout the shop to confirm compliance with company and regulatory requirements. This role also supports Ace Aeronautics' Quality Management System and works closely with the Chief Inspector to maintain accurate records and quality processes.

  • UH-60/S-70 Experience
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to quickly locate a part on an assembly drawing
  • Experience with the inspection of airframe structural repairs and modifications
  • Ability to use hand tools for inspection, i.e. height gages, calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, with advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and exercise sound judgment and discretion
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner with efficiency and accuracy
