Job summary

Meduit is seeking a Technical Quality Assurance Engineer to design, execute, and improve testing across Meduit’s Revenue Cycle Management applications, APIs, data platforms, and integrated solutions. The role ensures software applications are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with customer and business expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in software quality assurance or quality engineering.
  • Experience testing database-driven applications and validating backend data.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress.
  • Experience testing REST APIs and web services using tools such as Postman.
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute testing strategies, plans, and test cases for new and legacy applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, end-to-end, and data validation testing.
  • Write complex SQL queries and validate data across SQL/NoSQL platforms.
  • Validate data flows between applications, APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
  • Test REST APIs, web services, and healthcare-related integrations.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce defects and validate fixes.
  • Support performance, scalability, reliability, and release testing activities.
  • Promote quality engineering best practices and continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure testing aligns with healthcare and Revenue Cycle Management workflows.

About the Role:

The Technical Quality Assurance Engineeris responsible fordesigning, executing, and improving comprehensive testing strategies acrossMeduit’sRevenue Cycle Management applications, APIs, data platforms, and integrated solutions. This role ensures software applications are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with customer and business expectations. The Technical Quality Assurance Engineer partners with Software Development, Data Development, Product Management, and Implementation teams tovalidateend-to-end workflows,identifydefects, automate testing processes, and support continuous improvement in software quality.

Title: Technical Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Remote – United States

Schedule: First Shift, Monday – Friday

Department: Product Development

Compensation: $85,000 to $115,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies, plans, test cases, and test scenarios for new and legacy applications.
  • Performfunctional, regression, integration, system, API, end-to-end, and data validation testing.
  • Write complex SQL queries and perform data validation across SQL and NoSQL platforms.
  • Validate data flows between applications, APIs, databases, file exchanges, and third‑party systems.
  • Test REST APIs, web services, and healthcare-related integrations.
  • Partner closely with developers and product teams to reproduce defects,validatefixes, and improve overall quality.
  • Support performance, scalability, reliability, and release testing activities.
  • Promote quality engineering best practices, risk-based testing, and continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure testing aligns with healthcare and Revenue Cycle Management workflows and customer expectations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, ora relatedfield, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a software quality assurance or quality engineering role.
  • Experience testing database-driven applications and validating backend data.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
  • Experience testing REST APIs and web services using tools such as Postman, Newman, or similar tools.
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex software, database, and integration issues.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

PreferredQualifications:

  • Healthcare, Revenue Cycle Management, patient engagement, billing, collections, or related industry experience.
  • Familiarity with telephony, SMS/texting APIs, or related integrated communication technologies.
  • Experience supporting performance, scalability, reliability, and release testing activities.
  • Strong passion for automation, scalable quality engineering practices, and continuous process improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while balancing independent work with cross‑functional collaboration
