Job summary

Teradyne is seeking an experienced Optical Project Manager in Massachusetts to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced optical test systems. You will collaborate with marketing, engineering, and operations to ensure milestones are met and projects stay on budget.

The role requires 5+ years in optical systems design and strong project leadership. PMP/PRINCE2 is preferred, with proficiency in Primavera or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years experience in optical systems design and project management.
• PM certification (PMP or PRINCE2) preferred.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of optical principles and technologies.
• Proficiency with Primavera or Microsoft Project.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Opportunity Overview

• Lead and manage projects involving the design, development, and deployment of optical test systems

All About You

• Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline; master's degree is preferred; certifications in optical engineering are a plus
• 5+ years experience in optical systems design and project management
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion
• Strong understanding of optical principles, systems, and technologies
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $140,500-$224,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
