Job summary

ICC | International Code Council is seeking a Project Manager to lead product testing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring technical accuracy and timely delivery to clients. The role acts as the primary technical contact and coordinates between clients, laboratory staff, and ICC Evaluation Services.

The candidate will plan, organize, and monitor testing activities, ensure safety and standards compliance, and drive process improvements across testing workflows and documentation.

Qualifications

• B.S in engineering required.
• 2+ years experience in a testing laboratory or TIC organization.
• PM experience in a technical or laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of ASTM, TAS, AAMA, and ICC Acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage product testing projects to ensure on-time delivery within scope.
• Serve as main client contact, communicating requirements, timelines, and progress.
• Coordinate with laboratory technicians, calibration staff, and evaluation engineers for test execution and documentation.
• Monitor testing activities for accuracy, safety, and protocol compliance.
• Troubleshoot test setups or equipment with lab staff.
• Ensure all activities meet ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and internal QC procedures.
• Guide clients through testing and certification processes and explain requirements and results.
• Identify opportunities to optimize test processes, equipment use, and workflows.
• Review test plans, drawings, requests, methods, and specs to determine test setups.
