Job summary

CACI is offering a paid Summer Internship for a Technical Project Management Intern in High Point, NC. The role supports development and implementation of network solutions and R&D projects. You will assist the project management team across the project lifecycle and work under a Project or Program Manager at the High Point office.

The position is on-site, requiring 32 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks. Travel to other CACI locations or customer sites may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduating high school senior or current undergraduate/graduate student in a technical or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Trello or Jira is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians in a team environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in planning, tracking, and executing project tasks and deliverables.
• Support development and maintenance of project documentation (timelines, status reports, risk logs).
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document key takeaways and action items.
• Monitor milestones, deadlines, and dependencies for timely completion.
• Conduct research and gather data to support project decisions.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Identify risks, roadblocks, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Maintain project management tools, dashboards, and reports.
• Assist in creating presentations and reports for updates.
• Provide general administrative support to project management teams.

The Opportunity:

CACI is offering an exciting opportunity for academically accomplished and technically oriented individuals who are looking for paid Summer Internships! You will be part of a team supporting the development and implementation of CACI Network Solutions and Research and Development Projects in High Point, NC. As a team member, you will be working with a team to deliver a variety of the latest solutions and technology to modernize and secure our customer's data networks. You will assist the project management team and provide support across the project life cycle of various efforts. You will monitor and oversee the completion of project tasks and will work under the direction of a Project or Program Manager at the High Point office.

This position will be fully on-site, and the selected candidate will be expected to work at our High Point, NC office 32 hours a week for a minimum of 10-weeks.

Responsibilities:

As a Technical Project Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to impactful projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting project managers in planning, tracking, and executing project tasks and deliverables.

All interns will be expected to conduct a final summary presentation on your projects and experience to the Division. Select interns may be chosen to present to leaders in our headquarters office as well.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must be a graduating high school senior with demonstrated academic achievement OR a current full-time undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate student, preferably in Project Management, Operations, or a technical or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools such as Trello or Jira is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and technicians in a team environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (if applicable).
• Willingness to travel to other CACI locations or customer sites as necessary.
• Capability to handle light materials, boxes, or equipment as part of the role.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
