Job description

Technical Project Manager III

Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate computer-related activities including electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming
• Perform day-to-day management of the program and develop long-term strategic objectives to ensure that end user requirements will be satisfied in future contract years
• Perform horizontal integration planning and interface with other functional areas to ensure technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner
• Manage contract personnel and ensure high-quality and acceptable task completion and deliverables within contract compliance with the SOW
• Provide frequent periodic reports on contractor staffing status
• Serve as the point of contact for non-routine to moderately complex communication network installation projects
• Accountable for meeting contractual performance criteria and due dates during service delivery and overall project completion
• Coordinate activities in support of program managers and teams that provision, design, install, maintain, and bill services
• Track and monitor service orders through completion and turn‑up and prepare deliverables
• Estimate effort, cost, and schedule for complex projects
• Create IT infrastructure project management plans; monitor project management plan implementation progress and cost against the plan
• Escalate removal of blockers and resolution of issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field applicable to the position; or four (4) years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience in addition to education level
• Current PMP certification
• Experience working in a DoD or IC environment (desired)
• Current active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
