Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Project Manager to oversee technical projects from planning through delivery in a manufacturing environment. You will coordinate engineering, scheduling, budgets, and client communications to ensure contractual obligations are met.

You will report to the Director of Operations and work onsite in Burlington, NJ, driving cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and operations to deliver on-time, within-budget, high-quality projects.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience managing technical, engineering, or industrial projects within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proven project management experience coordinating schedules, budgets, deliverables, and resources across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineered equipment, and technical project execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned technical projects from planning through engineering, manufacturing, and final delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating project activities and communicating progress.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful execution.
• Review project deliverables and documentation to satisfy contractual requirements, customer specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate engineering activities with the Engineering Manager to ensure work meets scope and accepted practices.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedules.
• Track project costs, revenue, margins, bill rates, and resource utilization to monitor financial performance.
• Oversee accurate project invoicing and monitor accounts receivable to support timely payments.
