Qualifications

• 7+ years of total IT experience, with at least 3+ years acting as a Technical PM or Delivery Lead for Data/Analytics projects.
• Proven track record of delivering Legacy Data Systems to Databricks migration projects.
• Strong conceptual understanding of Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Cloud Data Warehouses (AWS/Azure), and ETL pipelines.
• Deep knowledge of Scrum/Kanban practices, Jira, and Confluence.
• Prior experience with Aerospace, Aviation, Defense, or Heavy Manufacturing is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of legacy-to-Databricks migration tracks using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Work with Data Architects and Engineers to map legacy data structures into Delta Lake formats.
• Define project scope, track milestones, manage sprints, and mitigate risks or blockers.

About the Role

Celebal Technologies is looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead a critical cloud transformation initiative for our aerospace client. You will drive the end-to-end migration of complex legacy data systems to a modern Databricks Lakehouse platform. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in data engineering and proven experience managing large-scale data migrations in highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of legacy-to-Databricks data migration tracks using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Migration Strategy: Work closely with Data Architects and Engineers to map legacy data structures into modern Delta Lake formats.
• Timeline Management: Define project scope, track milestones, manage sprints, and mitigate technical risks or blockers.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary bridge between Celebal's technical delivery team and Client's business leadership.
