Job summary

Giga Energy is seeking a Technical Project Manager to own day-to-day execution of data center projects from design kickoff through construction close-out. You will track submittals, RFIs, coordinate A&E vendors, and manage schedules under a TPM within a larger program.

This in-office role requires traveling to active construction sites across the US. The right candidate has 3–5 years in project management or design coordination for data centers or heavy industrial builds, with proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 3–5 years of experience in project management or design coordination within data centers, high-tech manufacturing, or industrial construction.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, architectural floor plans, one-lines, and mechanical schematics.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Smartsheet, Bluebeam Revu, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC / Build).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple open loops simultaneously.
• Strong communicator written and verbal with the ability to drive action across teams you don't directly manage.

Responsibilities

• Design Execution: Track and manage design deliverables, maintain the project schedule, surface scope clashes before they reach the field, and ensure design intent from start to energization.
• Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Manage external consultants, track deliverables, review submittals, and coordinate with GC and subcontractors on schedule and procurement.
• Permitting & Regulatory: Support permitting, track submittal packages, respond to AHJ comments, and maintain the permit log across jurisdictions.
• Reporting & Governance: Prepare weekly status updates, track issues and milestones, and participate in program-level governance cadences.
